What the screen looks like and how to use it

The kitchen display is a screen in the kitchen showing orders for the corresponding production stream in barsy. A serving till can be configured for this purpose.

Orders can be sorted by different criteria – for example by stream or time of submission. Each kitchen station then sees its orders, laid out clearly.

How it works, step by step

1. The order is entered in barsy – at the till, by the server or by the customer at the kiosk.
2. It appears immediately on the kitchen screen, with a sound alert.
3. The team sees the table, items and time, and opens the recipe if needed.
4. The finished order is marked as “Prepared” and moves to processed.
5. If the venue has an order-ready display, its number appears there.
